Newcomers offers a variety of activity groups each year. Their activities are in addition to the club’s luncheons, coffees, and special events. The formation of a new activity group is possible if there is enough interest. The club continues to offer what the membership wants!

Almost Gourmet:
This fun-loving, food-loving lunch group meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at a member’s home for a delicious lunch prepared by the hostess and three co-hostesses. Each member who signs up for this goup must host a luncheon once every two years and co-host twice a year.

Book Review:
The readers in this group meet at noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month at a member’s home to discuss a pre-selected book. Book selections are determined by suggestions from the group. We read all kinds of books: fiction, non-fiction, historical fiction, best-sellers, classics = all types. The hostess prepares a lite-lunch.

Bridge:
Day and evening and couple's bridge groups meet at each others' homes. Bridge luncheons and marathons are also available.

Bunco:
One ‘wild and crazy’ bunco group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 at members’ homes. A second bunco group meets at 11:30 on the first Wednesday of each month. A lite-lunch is offered by the hostess. If a group is filled, subs are always welcome.

Wine Tasting
Each month a different member of this group organizes and hosts an evening of wine tasting focused on a particular theme or wine region. Attendance is imited to the number the hostess or couple can accommodate. Members call ahead to reserve a space and those who attend bring an appetizer and share in the cost of the evening.
