Newcomers offers a variety of activity groups each year. Their activities are in addition to the club's luncheons, coffees, and special events. The formation of a new activity group is possible if there is enough interest. The club continues to offer what the membership wants!

Almost Gourmet
This fun-loving, food-loving lunch group meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at a member's home for a delicious lunch prepared by the hostess and three co-hostesses. Each member who signs up for this group must host a luncheon once every two years and co-host twice a year.
Book Review The readers in this group meet at noon on the fourth Tuesday of each month at a member's home to discuss a preselected book. Attendees bring a brown bag lunch; the hostess provides beverages and dessert.
Bridge
Day and evening and couple's bridge groups meet at each others' homes. Bridge luncheons and marathons are also available.
Bunco
One "wild and crazy" bunco group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at members homes. A second bunco group meets at noon on designated days. If a group is filled you can get on a sub list for future games.
Gardening Members in this group visit local gardens or tour local nurseries and then get together for a pre-arranged lunch.
Movie Group This group meets on the third Thursday of the month for a matinee at one of the local movie theaters. This is a fun afternoon that usually includes lunch at a nearby restaurant to discuss the movie.
Wine Tasting Each month a member of this group organizes and hosts an evening of wine tasting. The number in attendance is limited to the number the host/hostess can accommodate. Members call ahead to reserve a space and share in the cost of the evening.
